The Wayne County Community Foundation is thrilled to welcome Sarah Draidfort to their board of directors.

Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She has been in the healthcare field for over 34 years. Previously, she was a Charge Nurse at Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey after completing an RN internship. She went on to being a Home Health and Hospice Nurse at a number of locations. She worked at Patient Care Medical Services Inc, where she went from being a Field Nurse, to Discharge Planner and eventually Nursing Supervisor. She relocated to Pennsylvania and worked at Julia Ribaudo SNF as a Charge RN and then Regional Hospital Home Health and Hospice as a Hospice Nurse.

Currently, she is a Nursing Supervisor at Wayne Memorial Home, Health, and Hospice where she has worked for the past 15 years.
Throughout her 27 years of living in Wayne County, she has worked as a Volunteer and Substitute Nurse at Wallenpaupack Area School District, previously was a Girl Scouts Assistant Troop Leader in WLE, and has also volunteered at local Assembly of God churches all while being a single mother of three. She currently resides in Lake Ariel.


Established in 1991 the Wayne County Community Foundation invests funds from a variety of permanent charitable funds created by local individuals, families, businesses and organizations and uses the returns on these investments to award grants, scholarships and promote programs to a wide variety of humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations.
