This week, we unveiled a pro-job, recovery-focused legislative package which would essentially incentivize manufacturing with no new taxes or fees.

Pennsylvania is currently experiencing a very real economic hardship after businesses were shuttered, jobs were lost and the will of our Commonwealth shaken. This package of bills offers a solution that would not only incentivize manufacturing investments, but further create jobs and supply a much-needed boost to our state.

The package includes:
Manufacturer incentives to create tax abatements and job creation tax credits for businesses in targeted zones within Pennsylvania.
A reduction in Pennsylvania’s Corporate Net Income Taxes (CNIT) rate from 9.99% to 5.99% by Jan. 1, 2025.
A “Jobs of the Future Study,” which would review opportunities for the development of new industries.
Commonsense protections via limited liability to the critical suppliers, health care providers and employers operating during the pandemic.

Department of Environmental Protection permit predictability to ensure permitting decisions are rendered reliably and in a timely manner, of which I am the sponsor of.
