With regards to the State’s directives concerning the Corona Virus outbreak, and because of the declared pandemic and as a precautionary measure, I am canceling Civil Court and “new” ADA arraignment Court dates for the next several weeks until the beginning of June 2020, due to the limited capacity of our Court Room and the fact that all have to utilize a “unisex” bathroom facility. This Order is in effect immediately. The Court will notify the Delaware County District Attorney’s office, all Local, County and State Police and Probation agencies plus all pending defendants and their attorney’s of this decision.
However, the Court will continue to do immediate arraignments but will not allow any “unusual” amount of people to be present in the Court Room. Court cases that have been arraigned and are in continuance, will continue to be entertained through conclusion.
